LinkedIn is fascinating. With Facebook having been relegated to a place which tries to distract you with cat videos and endless loops of How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory, and Twitter having turned into a political warzone that just kills our brain cells, more and more people are choosing LinkedIn to find relevant and engaging content as well as to express their creativity and intelligence.

However, your experience on LinkedIn is a factor of who you follow on LinkedIn and what they are sharing on their timeline. It is critical to choose the right people, otherwise your LinkedIn timeline will not be interesting and may even be filled with junk and irrelevant content.

We thought of making a list of lawyers from around the world who share interesting updates, good articles, ideas and inspiration. Not everyone does everything obviously, but this is a list that took me a week to prepare, so you don’t have to do the hard work of finding amazing lawyers and thought leaders to follow.

I have left out a lot of legal stalwarts who are present on LinkedIn, but do not post anything or do not have enough followers. Of course, Ram Jethmalani’s Linkedin account has a lot of followers but he almost never posts anything of interest. On the other hand, there are other lesser known lawyers who engage a lot on Linkedin, posts amazing updates and comments and therefore have a lot followers.

You are free to disagree with the list and suggest additions or deletions in the comments. Thanks for your inputs in advance.

Your growth is determined by the people you interact often with. We spend a lot of our time in the digital world. You can interact with amazing people on the internet and allow yourself to be influenced by them. LinkedIn indeed gives you that opportunity.

Tell us who else we should follow too.

Follower count is taken till 15th February 2019. Remember that this is not a judgment on who is a better lawyer, more successful or anything else – this list just shows who are more active in LinkedIn and therefore have gained more followers. It also shows the reach and influence of these lawyers on this particular platform.

We ask our LawSikho learners to be active on LinkedIn. In fact, we have some classes where we show them how to make the best of LinkedIn and find jobs, mentorship, guidance and opportunities. So we prepared this list of the top 100 most active and most followed lawyers on LinkedIn for the benefit of our students. We are sharing it with you too! It took us a month to compile, so do let us know if you benefit from this!

So let’s get to the list.
