Eligibility
An LL.B Degree or an equivalent examination with a minimum of Fifty percent (50%) of marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories and Forty-Five percent (45%) of marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
Pattern and syllabus
The paper will be of 120 questions in total with a time limit of 2 hrs, all the questions being objective in nature. Each question will carry 1 mark, with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
The questions can be asked from the following topics- Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Administrative Law, Law of Contract, Torts, Family Law, Criminal Law, Property Law, Company Law, Public International Law, Tax Law, Environmental Law, and Labour & Industrial Law.
However, the paper will have 60 questions alone from the constitutional law itself, and the remaining topics would cover the other 60 questions.
