What would happen in a Motor Vehicles Act case the deceased was at fault?

If the deceased in an accident was driving in the wrong direction of a one-way road, and got hit by a bus coming from the right direction and driving slowly while following traffic rules.
Would the bus driver still be liable even if the deceased caused his own death due to solely his own fault? What if it in addition to this the deceased was not wearing a helmet?

Deceased can get compensation under motor vehicles act thanks to third party insurance even if he was at fault. No other liability on the driver though as he was not at fault.
