Conversion of Sole proprietor into a Private Limited Company will not attract Capital Gains if certain conditions are followed. But what about the stamp duty if there are various different movable and immovable assets in the name of the proprietor


Yes stamp duty has to be paid on conversion from a sole proprietor to a private limited company where immovable property is involved.


Stamp duly has to paid for transfer of immovable property in case conversation from sole proprietor to a private limited company.
