Dhruv Gupta completed the NUJS diploma in Entrepreneurship Administration and Business Laws in 2016. In the past, he has interned with prestigious brands like Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, J. Sagar Associates, Seth Dua Associates, ICICI bank etc. He is currently a practicing lawyer in Delhi High court, dealing with civil litigation matters. He feels it’s important to understand all branches of law and plans to branch out to criminal law as well.

He has done BCom (Hons.) from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Master in Law of Financial Services and Capital from NALSAR and LLB from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, Delhi University.

I joined the NUJS diploma in Entrepreneurship Administration and Business Laws in 2015, at that time I was in my final year of law school. I saw the syllabus and structure of the course and liked it. When I discussed it with my friends in college, I got to know that few of my seniors and class mates were already pursuing this course and they were very positive about it. The active participation and involvement I saw in them as well as the course curriculum made me enroll for this course.

I would say that it is one of the most complete and comprehensive courses in business laws I have ever come across.  All nuances of corporate and commercial law are covered in this course with lots of practical insights on the daily working environment of how transactions take place. Most of the other courses are simply and purely theoretical. You don’t get this in any other course; rather this is something people get to learn at work when they start practicing things.

Great effort is put into designing the course curriculum as well as the content. The content is exceptional; it’s in easy to understand and simple language. No legal jargons are used and at certain places where legal terms are used, they are elaborately explained making it a very user-friendly course.

The modules which I personally benefitted the most from are business structuring; how to start a company. The difference between a Private Limited company and an LLP etc were very insightfully covered under it. Arbitration and Raising Investments were the other two modules which I personally liked the most.

The knowledge gained through this course is not just helping me in my career, it has broadened my horizon. It has developed the ability in me to give advice on various modes of business entities.

I’ve mentioned this diploma in my CV and my Linkedin profile. In future, I plan to set up my own legal firm and I strongly feel that the knowledge gained through this course would come handy then also.

Without second thoughts I would recommend this diploma to anyone. As per me, this diploma is not just for lawyers and law students. Anyone who has a dream of owning an entity at any point of time can benefit from this course.
