Eligibility
55% aggregate in Master’s Degree or Equivalent Degree for general/EWS and 50% for ST/SC/OBC/PwD/Transgender.
Pattern
Paper 1
The questions (objective) will be generic in nature, intending to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness of the candidate.
There will be 50 questions, totaling 100 marks with a time limit of 1 hour.
Paper 2
The questions (objective) will be asked from Jurisprudence, Constitution of India, Administrative Law, Public International Law & IHL, Law of Crimes, Law of torts & Consumer Protection, Commercial Law, Family Law, Environmental & Human rights law, IPR & IT law and Comparative Public Law & Systems of governance.
There will be 100 questions, totaling 200 marks with a time limit of 2 hours.
There are no negative marks in any of the questions in both the papers.
