Eligibility

The candidates must possess a Law Degree from any recognized University.

Pattern and syllabus

Pre

Pre-exam has two papers, P1 on General Knowledge (50 objective questions) and P2 on Law (100 objective questions). The topics for law include IPC, IEA, CrPC, and UP Police and Regulations Act.

There will be a negative marking of one-third mark for each incorrect response.

Mains (written exam)

This has four sections of 100 marks each-

1. General Knowledge 
2. General Hindi
3. Criminal Law and procedure
4. Law of evidence 

This will be followed by a personality test of 50 marks.
