About the Conference

Despite the modernization and development of Nation and increasing dimensions of Women empowerment, the incidents of crime against women are on an upswing. Women continue to suffer and are unsafe despite various legislative enactments, schemes launched by the government and judicial pronouncements safeguarding them.

In the wake of prevailing scenario, it is a matter of high concern to analyze and deliberate on the issue and bring radical changes to ensure women’s safety. In this conference, we aim to discuss the current developments with respect to gender violence in India and the initiatives that can be taken to curb the crime against women. The discussions in the conference will help us towards improving gender parity in our country.

The conference will bring together Students, Academicians, Professionals, Social Activists, Lawyers and Research Scholars all under one roof who call for a continuous transformation in the legal arena. The event will include Paper Presentation as well as Short Films Presentation on the topic. Further selected papers will be considered for publication.
