0

Pradeep Raja is a techno Legal professional, having six years of experience in Intellectual Property Rights in the pharmaceuticals domain. He is presently working as a Senior Executive, Scientific affairs, Research & Development at Mylan Laboratories, Bengaluru.

He is currently pursuing the NUJS MA in Business Laws course and Over here, he shares his experience with the course so far. Over to Pradeep:

I have done MSc in Organic Chemistry from Andhra University and Post graduate diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from NALSAR. I currently work in the legal department of Mylan Laboratories; one of the largest generics and specialty pharmaceutical companies in the world. My role mainly involves patent searching and claim mapping, handling claim analysis for India as well as International applications for both processes and formulations and drafting & reviewing patent specifications. Also, providing Patent search reports, prior art search, suggestive patent analysis, freedom to operate analysis, patentability analysis and patent status for various countries, patent drafting and reply to various internal & external communications relating to APIs.

I enrolled for the NUJS MA in Business Laws course as unlike the other online courses, it was offering a specialization. The option of specialization in IPR attracted me as it was very much related to my work domain.

The course syllabus is very well structured and provides a good insight into many areas of Law.

I’m very happy with the course so far and have already recommended it to few of my friends. It is a very useful course for people in IPR and legal field.

Thanks to iPleaders and NUJS for introducing such a wonderful course.
