Job description-

Manage complex legal research and analysis projects
Act as a subject matter expert on areas of legal and regulatory significance.
Develop appropriate structure for large-scale research projects to achieve desired objectives and effectively communicate findings to varied stakeholders.
Perform legal and regulatory research on applicable state and federal laws relating to the mortgage and real estate industry
Analyze legal and regulatory requirements at the state and federal level
Manage special projects as necessary
Develop working relationships with Compliance Managers in each business unit
Develop knowledgebase of applicable laws and regulations related to the mortgage and real estate industries
Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations

Qualification required-Four year degree from an accredited college or university is required
At least 2 years of experience in legal position, legal research, analysis and writing; Juris Doctorate Degree or Paralegal Degree preferred
Experience using Westlaw to perform legal research on U.S. regulations is required
Familiarity with U.S. federal and state regulatory websites
Ability to manage simultaneous large-scale projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to rapidly adapt to changing circumstances
Experience working effectively in a fast-paced environment

Keyskills-  Develop working relationships with Compliance Managers in each business unit
Develop knowledgebase of applicable laws and regulations related to the mortgage and real estate industries
Maintain database of research projects
Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations
